Cynthia Louise Moore, 59, of Lansing, died, Sunday, April 12, 2020. She was born July 13, 1960, in Leavenworth, to Leo F. and Genevieve (Price) Wacker.

On April 25, 1986, Cynthia married Mark Moore in Leavenworth. He preceded her in death in 2015. She was also preceded in death by her father and her grandparents, Leo C. and Francis Wacker.

Cynthia is survived by her mother; her daughter, Tiffany (Jon) Pheral of Leavenworth; four sisters, Teresa (Mark) Smith of Lawrence, Kan., Joan (Chris) Hockenbarger of Mclouth, Kan., Dolores Harper of Lansing, Kan., and Mary Wacker of Lenexa, Kan.; two brothers, Mike (Konda) Wacker of St. Joseph, Mo., and Mark Wacker of Pueblo, Colo.; three grandchildren, Robert, Hayden and Kylie; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She worked for the Dept. of Army as a transportation specialist where she retired after 30 years with several accolades. Cynthia was a member of the Eagles for many years. She also led a Girl Scout troop throughout her daughter’s childhood.

Cynthia loved her family. It was important to her to spend as much time as she could with her grandchildren and help take care of her mother, making her mothers life as easy as possible.

She also enjoyed bowling, gardening and decorating her house and patio. Cynthia enjoyed staying busy building any new project she could dream up.

She touched many hearts and was always willing to lend a hand.

A private family burial will be immediate. A funeral mass will be at a later date to be announced. Arrangements in care of R.L. Leintz Funeral Home.
