Obituary for Wilma Larabee
Wilma Virginia Larabee, 86, of Leavenworth, died Thursday, April 8, 2021. She was born March 31, 1935, in Leavenworth, to Harvey and Edna Mensch.
On Sept. 15, 1987, Wilma married James Larabee. He survives at the home. She is also survived by a daughter, Bridget Larabee of Leavenworth; a brother, Paul E. Mensch of Rolla, Mo.; two grandchildren, Isabel Soto and Nathan Soto; and her aunt, Bonnie Gene Menard.
Wilma loved to go to garage sales. She recieved the Law Enforcement Liberty Bell Award on May 2, 1997.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, April 12, 2021, at the R. L. Leintz Funeral Home. A funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. Tuesday, at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Leavenworth National Cemetery.
