Obituary for Wilfred Bourassa
Wilfred Francis Bourassa, 78, of Leavenworth, died Tuesday, May 16, 2023, at home. He was born June 28, 1944, in Lowell, Mass., to Wilfred F. and Cecile (Fagan) Bourassa.
He married Annette Perron in Lowell, Mass. She survives at the home. He is also survived by two daughters, Karen (Richard) Pigg of Oklahoma City, Okla. and Michelle (Mike) McCullough of Leavenworth; four siblings, Donald Bourassa, Helen Brunnel, Loretta Normandin and Rita Bridges; eight grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Wilfred served in the United States Marine Corps from 1966 to 1968, where he received a Purple Heart. After being honorably discharged, he worked as a Carpenter for many years.
He enjoyed watching wrestling and car racing. He also loved going to the casino with his wife.
Services will be private.
