Tony Benjamin Wise, 59, of Leavenworth, died Wednesday, Jan. 1, 2020, at his home. He was born June 1, 1960, in Sumter, S.C., the son of Warren and Vonice (Baker) Wise.
On March 23, 1988, he married Linda Wise in Leavenworth, Kan. She survives at the home. He is also survived by two children, Chrystal (Presley) Aurelien of Leavenworth, and Tyler (Holli) Wise of Atchison, Kan.; a brother, Joey Wise; a sister, Icle Saukko both of Sumter, S.C.; and four grandchildren, Jaycee, Cade, Cooper and Kingston.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Carl Wise.
Tony had many relatives and friends. There wasn’t a person he didn’t know. Every child was his son or daughter and every adult was his brother or sister.
He enjoyed fishing, mushroom hunting, playing cards, tinkering around in his garage and fixing old equipment. Tony could fix anything and was always happy to lend a helping hand.
A visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 5, 2020, at the R.L. Leintz Funeral Home. A funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. Monday, at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Mt. Muncie Cemetery.
