Obituary for Timothy Bailey
Timothy John Bailey, 74, of Leavenworth, died Saturday, Jan. 15, 2022, at NorthCare Hospice House. He was born April 23, 1947, in Hot Springs, Ark., to Bert and Beverly (Blaschke) Bailey.
He is survived by two sons, Scott and Sean Bailey of Kansas City; two grandchildren, Brennon and Breanna Bailey; and his longtime companion, Pat Harrison.
Timothy was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Don Bailey.
He enjoyed corvette racing and gun smithing. Timothy was an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan and a continuous season ticket holder.
Timothy was a member of the National Council of Corvette Club.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 23, 2022, at the R.L. Leintz Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:30 a.m. Monday, at St. Casimir Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the Leavenworth Animal Welfare Society or a Charity of the Donor’s Choice.
