Obituary for Rose May
Rose Marie May, 93, of Leavenworth, died Saturday, Nov. 19, 2022, at Twin Oaks Assisted Living. She was born Nov. 22, 1928, in Leavenworth, to Frank Sr. and Anna (Biczak) Jarowitz.
On June 27, 1953, Rose married James Andrew May. He preceded her in death in January 8, 2022. She was also preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Ray and Frank Jr.; two sisters, Mrs. Florence Williford and Mrs. Virginia Inkman.
Rose worked many years for the Kramer Company in Leavenworth and ended her working days at Ft. Leavenworth.
She was a cherished Aunt survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews; and special caregivers, David Williford and Gale Jarowitz.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 29, 2022, at the R.L. Leintz Funeral Home. A funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. Tuesday, at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to St. Joseph Catholic Church.
