Obituary for Rose Harth
Rose Marie Harth, 89, of Leavenworth, died Friday, August 12, 2022. She was born March 8, 1933, in Leavenworth, the daughter of Joseph and Irene (Clark) Lozenski.
On June 23, 1956, Rose married James L. Harth at St. Joseph Church in Leavenworth, Kan. He survives at the home. She is also survived by a son, Eric (Kim) Harth of Andover, Kan.; a daughter, Karen (Mark) Nietzke of Basehor, Kan.; four grandchildren, Katie Heeke of Basehor, Kan., Garrett, Gavin and Gage Harth all of Andover, Kan.
She attended Saint Mary’s Academy and the University of Kansas.
Rose enjoyed tending to her flowers and playing the piano.
Visitation beginning with the praying of the rosary will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 18, 2022, at the R.L. Leintz Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10 a.m. Friday, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Saint Luke’s Hospice House or Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
