Obituary for Roberta Snodell
Roberta Rae Snodell, 78, of Mission, Kan., passed away Sunday, August 29, 2021, in Kansas City, Mo.
She was born the daughter of Howard Parker and Elsie Louise (Flinner) Louth on June 10, 1943, in Wichita, Kan.
Roberta had a long career as an insurance claims manager for Blue Cross-Blue Shield Health Insurance Co. She was active as an officer in the American Legion Auxiliary and was an amateur photographer, silversmith, and jewelry maker.
Roberta is survived by her sons, James Lank (Theresa), Cypress, Texas, Jason Lank, Overland Park, Kan. and Christopher Lank, Mission, Kan.; six grandchildren, and sisters Myrna Marie Russell, Oak Harbor, Wash. and Jean Louise Rossman, Scottsdale, Ariz. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband John M. Snodell.
A private family graveside service will be held on Friday, Sept 3, 2021, at the Mt Olivet Cemetery in Kansas City, Mo. Arrangements provided by R.L. Leintz Funeral Home. The family requests in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to the American Legion Auxiliary (Department of Kansas Attn: Accounting Services Team-Auxiliary Emergency Fund 1314-B S.
