Obituary for Robert Burns
Robert C. Burns “Bobby”,41, of Leavenworth, passed away peacefully on August 2, 2022. Bobby was born July 21, 1981, in Leavenworth, Kan., the son of Thomas L. and Mary Ann (Tevebaugh) Burns.
On April 20, 2009, he married Sylvia Mobley in Leavenworth, Kan. Bobby was a jack of all trades, mostly working construction throughout his adult life, and most recently worked for the Operative Plasterers' and Cement Masons' Local Union 518.
He loved to make people laugh and sincerely loved everyone. He had an enormous heart and loved his children immensely. He will be remembered as a beloved son, brother, father, husband and grandfather.
Bobby is survived by his wife, Sylvia; father, Tom; sister, Lori Burns; son, Robert Burns; three daughters, Daja Burns, Araina Burns and Ellie Burns; two nephews and many cousins.
A celebration of his life will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Monday, August 15, 2022, at the R.L. Leintz Funeral Home. Family, friends and others whose lives Bobby touched are invited to come and share their memories and reminisce. We acknowledge the condolences and sympathies of all who have reached out to us during this time of sadness and loss. Thank you
