Obituary for Richard Moran
Richard Anthony Moran, 60, of Leavenworth, died Monday, Nov. 23, 2020, at Medicalodges of Leavenworth. He was born April 13, 1960, in Chicago, Ill., the son of Leonard and Edna (Green) Moran.
He retired from the United States Army and he also worked for the U.S. post office.
Richard is survived by two daughters, Kathlene Moran and Chelsea Moran; four sons, Timothy, Andrew, Robert and Ryan Moran; two sisters, JoAnn Camp and Barbara Bateman; two brothers, Mike and Leonard Moran; eight grandchildren; and a niece, Makayla Bateman.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He enjoyed gardening and would make salsa and pickles from his garden. Richard was an avid Chicago Bears fan. He also enjoyed fishing.
Richards nickname was “The Tallest Leprechaun”. He will be greatly missed by his friends and family.
Services will be private.
