Obituary for Regina Bergman
Regina Bergman, 60, of Lansing, passed away peacefully surrounded by her children and family, June 29, 2022, after a 25-year-long battle with Huntington’s disease. She was born Regina Ann West on August 9, 1961, to Clifford “Dean” Sr. and Beverly (Lowe) West.
She was a life-long resident of Leavenworth.
Regina is survived by her two children, Shelene Berg and James (Michaela) Bergman, both of Leavenworth; sister, Roberta “Robbie” Owens Carter; brother, Jamie West; six grandchildren, Logan (22), Ryan (19), Cameren (18), Blake (16), Makenzie (14) and Payton (12); a great-granddaughter, Scarlett (2); nieces, Danielle (Todd), Aleasha, Ashleigh, Shelby (Tim) and Aimee; and a nephew, Dean.
Regina was preceded in death by her parents; her grandparents, Tom and Dollie Lowe and Clarence and Mary West; a brother Clifford “Dinger” West, Jr.; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
A celebration of life will be Saturday, July 9, 2022, from 11 to 1 p.m., at the R.L. Leintz Funeral Home.
