Randall Scott Vossmer, 53, of Leavenworth, died unexpectedly, Wednesday, April 28, 2021, at home. He was born Aug. 8, 1967, in Leavenworth, to George Vossmer and Shirley (Ellerman) Stevens.

Randy loved to derby in his younger days and continued to cheer his boys on when they followed in his footsteps. He enjoyed going to swap meets, tractor pulls and fishing with Grandpa Yonts. He also loved working on trucks with the kids, he would yell at them while they were working but it was only out of true love for them. Randy was a handyman and enjoyed teaching any kids around him how to do things and that they could do anything if they put their mind to it. He raised and taught so many kids at home and on his jobsites. Randy collected toys, tractors and trucks and neatly displayed in the cabinets at his house.
Randy was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Mark Bietka and Mike Bietka.
He truly had his own way of showing his love and making everyone feel special.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday, May 2, 2021, at the R.L. Leintz Funeral Home. A funeral service will begin at 7 p.m. Sunday, at the funeral home. Memorial donations are suggested to Amanda Cigich for unexpected medical and funeral expenses.
