Morgan Christine Blockburger was a caring and devoted wife, step-mother, daughter, sister and friend. She left this world peacefully at home surrounded by her loved ones on Feb., 4, 2021 at the age of 31, after battling kidney/renal failure for many years.

Morgan was born to James and Geralynn Longacre. She married Christopher Blockburger on May 5, 2016. Morgan is survived by her parents; her in-laws, Henry and Deborah Blockburger; her husband; three step-children, Bianca Chadwick, Matthew and Brittany Blockburger; three grandchildren, Isabella, Brantley and Brandon; and her sisters, Jessica Royal and Ashley Schultes.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 11, 2021, at the R.L. Leintz Funeral Home. A short service will follow at 1 p.m. Thursday, at the funeral home. Burial will be at Mt. Muncie Cemetery. Masks will be required. A dinner will be held at VFW Post #56 Hall (519 Cherokee St, Leavenworth, KS) from 2-4 pm. Family and friends are invited to attend any and/or all services and dinner. Flowers, well wishes and donations can be sent to R.L. Leintz Funeral Home. Donations can also be made to the National Kidney Foundation, in loving memory of Morgan Christine Blockburger.
