Obituary for Lynda Beck
Lynda Joyce Beck, 76, of Lansing, died January 22, 2023, at home. She was born September 4, 1946, in Davenport, Iowa, to Clifford Sr. and Lois (Litcher) Piggott.
On June 13, 1969, Lynda married Michael Warren Beck at St. Johns United Methodist Church in Davenport, Iowa. He preceded her in death on September 14, 2017. She was also preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Clifford Piggott Jr.
Lynda is survived by three children, Steven, Scott and Desiree Beck; two grandchildren, Gunner and Morgan Beck; two sisters, Betty (Lee) McIntoch and Judy Haulk; a brother, Lestor Piggott; numerous nieces and nephews; and her many friends from church.
She was a member of the Crossroads United Methodist Church in Lansing, attending almost every Sunday for many years.
Lynda had a great love for her children, grandchildren and the children she fostered throughout her life. She was a natural caretaker and made everyone else a priority before herself. Lynda was always loving, patient, forgiving and selfless. She will be dearly missed.
A celebration of life will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 18, 2023, at Crossroads United Methodist Church, 101 E. Gilman, Lansing, KS, 66043.
