Obituary for Lila Johnson
Lila Johnson, went home to be with the Lord, Thursday, June 16, 2022, at home. She was born in Linneus, Mo., the daughter of William and Greuthel (Jennings) Batye.
She is survived by three children, Charles (Sue) Johnson, Roger Johnson and Linda Johnson Alexander; a cousin, Karen Wilson; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Lila was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Rose Finneran; and a brother, Charles Batye.
She enjoyed reading, following political commentary, cooking and sewing.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, June 21, 2022, at the R.L. Leintz Funeral Home. A funeral service will begin at 10 a.m. Wednesday, at Church of the Open Door. Burial will be at a later date at North Salem Cemetery, Browning, Mo. In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to Council on Aging Pals Program or Church of the Open Door.
