Obituary for Kevin Kern
Kevin L. Kern, 63, of Leavenworth, died Sunday, Feb. 19, 2023, surrounded by his family. He was born Oct. 9, 1959, in Leavenworth, the son of Lawrence and Roberta (Robinson) Kern.
Kevin graduated from Pleasant Ridge High School. He received his Associate Degree advancing him to becoming the lead ink technician during his 43 years at Hallmark Cards.
On March 9, 1983, Kevin married Lisa L. Skaggs in Leavenworth, Kan. She survives at the home. He is also survived by his father, Lawrence; his daughter, Sara; son-in-law, Brent; and grandson, Aiden; three step-children, Chad, Teri and Kyle; a brother, Brian; and two sisters, Janice and Theresa.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Roberta.
While enjoying his retirement, Kevin played various golf courses and loved going to the driving range with his grandson.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 26, 2023, at the R.L. Leintz Funeral Home.
