Ret. Lieutenant Colonel John Brugnoni, 85, died Wednesday, May 26, 2021.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Margaret Brugnoni; three children, Joe Brugnoni and spouse, Debbie, Judi Carlson and spouse, Ken, Melissa Kerley and spouse, Stephen; five grandchildren Nicole (Bryan), Matthew (Gina), Jennifer (Reid), Brianna, Holly (Brian) and seven great grandchildren, Marley, Malayna, Ben, Anna, Kai, Lane and Jaden
John served in the United States Army where he was decorated with many awards to include the Bronze Star, AirMedal, Joint Service Commendation Medal, AirForce Outstanding Unit Award, National Defense Service Medal, Army Staff Identification Badge, Vietnam Service Medal, republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal, Vietnam technical Medal, 1st class, Aircraft Crewman Badge, Vietnam Cross of Gallantry-Silver Star,Cavalier, Order of Merit (Italy), RVN Gallantry Cross Unit Citation Palm, OSSvcBars(2), Army Commendation Medal and the Merit Service Medal.
John’s favorite activities were travel, auctioneering, antiquing and farming.
Services will be private. Memorials are suggested to the American Diabetes Association.
