Obituary for Joan White
Joan Marie White, 88, of Ketchum, Okla., passed away peacefully on Oct. 11, 2022, after a long illness. She was born Sept. 15,1934, in Leavenworth, Kan., the daughter of Wm and Adelia (LaMay) Klasinski.
Joan attended St. Joseph grade school and St. Mary’s Academy. She graduated from Immaculata High School in 1952 and Providence Nursing School in 1955. She practiced nursing in the Leavenworth area over the next 40 years before retiring to Oklahoma.
Joan is survived by her husband of 67 years, Thomas W. White; her children, Michelle (Gary) Marshall, Denise White, Tom (Cindy) White, Melissa (Bob) Wallingford, and Nicole (Howard) Crook; her brother, Wm Klasinski; and her sisters Margaret Ann (Richard) Cook and Mary C. Upchurch; 13 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
A private gathering was held on Oct.15th at R.L. Leintz Funeral Home.
