Obituary for Jeffrey Focht
Jeffrey L. Focht, 68, of Tonganoxie, died Tuesday, April 11, 2023. He was born Sept. 5, 1954, in Philipsburg, Penn., to Kenneth and Lois (Givler) Focht.
On July 25, 2014, Jeffrey married Marie K. “Cissy” Iams in Altoona, Penn. She survives at the home. He is also survived by his mother; a son, David Focht and wife, Robin, of Leavenworth; a daughter, Danielle Brown and husband, John of Selma, N.C.; and a stepson, Jason Anno of Tonganoxie, Kan.; and three siblings, Jackie Whaley, Randy Focht and Robbie Focht all of Bellwood, Penn.
Jeffrey worked for the City of Lansing for over 40 years receiving numerous awards before retiring as a Street Superintendent.
He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and working on things. Jeffrey also loved to have lunch with his wife every day. He will be missed by all of his family and friends.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, April 21, 2023, at the R.L. Leintz Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Mt. Muncie Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the Endangered Ark Foundation.
