Obituary for Jason Schroyer
Jason William Schroyer, 52, of Leavenworth, passed away peacefully, Thursday, Feb. 10, 2022, at Providence Medical Center. He was born Feb. 9, 1970, in Kansas City, Kan., the second child of three to Robert and Marilyn (Thorne) Schroyer.
He graduated from Lansing High School in 1988. Throughout his school years, Jason was known to be a jokester and was voted class clown his senior year. Jason was a genuine comedian who loved his family and friends.
He was a former sheet metal worked for Local Union #2.
Jason is survived by his parents; a son, Brandon Schroyer all of Leavenworth; a sister, Kim Schroyer (Patrick Sullivan) of Lansing, Kan.; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Ronny Schroyer.
Jason will be sadly missed by all his family and friends, especially his son Brandon, who was his best friend.
Visitation will be from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 15, 2022, at the R.L. Leintz Funeral Home. A funeral service will begin at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to the Leavenworth County Humane Society.
