Obituary for Janice Thomas
Janice Thomas, 67, of Leavenworth, died Tuesday, Aug. 24, 2021, at home.She was born Oct. 26, 1953, in Hyden, Kentucky, the daughter of Joe and Mabeline (Morgan) Napier.
She is survived by seven children, Robert Thomas of Leavenworth; Renee Collett, Michelle Napier, Jamie Washburn, Jeffrey Washburn and Charlene Washburn all of Hyden, Ky., and Joey Collett of Hazard, Ky.; four brothers, Gene, Danny, Carl and Estill Morgan; and eight grandchildren.
Janice enjoyed cooking and watching classic westerns. She also loved vacationing to Kentucky.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 29, 2021, at the R.L. Leintz Funeral Home A funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. Monday, at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
