Obituary for Ivan Tupychka
Ivan “Vanya” Tupychka, рassed away unexpectedly, Wednesday, August 18, 2021, at his home in Liberty, Mo., at the age of 37. Ivan was born on June 4, 1984 to Lyubov Virstyuk and Ivan Tupychka in Ivano-Frankivsk, Ukraine. He moved to the USA at the age of 20.
He is survived by his mother, Lyubov Virstyuk-Paulson; his sister, Viktoriya Virstyuk-Emami and brother-in-law, Amin Emami; father, Ivan Tupychka; uncle Volodymyr Virstyuk; and his family in Ukraine.
Vanya cherished the time he spent with family and friends and truly enjoyed cooking, camping and fishing. He was very kind and always helped people. He worked hard and had a lot of dreams for his future. However, God called him to the heavens early. Vanya lived his life practicing good morals and ethics and always put his friends and family before all else, his presence lifted all our hearts and brought us all unconditional love. As our family and friends suffer his loss, we will find strength in his love for us. He will be deeply missed.
Visitation beginning with the rosary will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, Aug. 23, 2021, at the R.L. Leintz Funeral Home (4701 10th Ave, Leavenworth, KS). Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, at St. Francis de Sales Church. Burial will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens Cemetery.
