Obituary for Gigi Lifsey

Gigi Ann Lifsey was born on October 17, 1960, in Leavenworth, Kansas, to Ardella Wallace, Leavenworth, and the late Clifford Conley. The sixth of six children, Gigi, was the baby with full baby of the family benefits. At an early age, she was baptized at the Pentecostal Church of Apostolic Faith under the leadership of “the late” District Elder Leland Thomas. Gigi attended Leavenworth High School, where she graduated on May 24, 1978. After graduation and marriage, Gigi moved to El Paso then Dallas, Texas, before finally landing in Houston, Texas. From this marriage were born four children.

Gigi became part of the Sprint family in 1998, where she worked as an Office Manager for 23 years. When asked to define her thoughts of Sprint, Gigi said Sprint is like her family. She made the following statement during an interview: “Sprint is special. It’s hard to define, but I love it here and would never work anywhere else.”

After finding her freedom and her wings, Gigi loved coming home to Leavenworth to visit family. While she was home visiting, she would sing and dance with her nieces and nephews. She always had a positive spirit of joy and happiness. Gigi loved to travel the high seas where she always enjoyed the company of her family. Gigi passed on August 14, 2021. We miss and mourn for her. She was a blessing to us all.
