Obituary for Georgia Pfrimmer

Georgia Roxanne Pfrimmer, 65, of Leavenworth, died Wednesday, Nov. 25, 2020, at NorthCare Hospice House after a short battle with cancer. She was born Feb. 12, 1955, in St. Joseph, Mo., the daughter of Carl David and Billie Lanzel (Bailey) Paden.

On Dec. 27, 1991, Georgia married Dr. Max Pfrimmer in Leavenworth, Kan. He survives at the home. She is also survived by her father who is 100 years old and living in Houston, Texas; her son, Nicholas (Halley) Pfrimmer of Lansing, Kan; three stepchildren, Max Pfrimmer Jr. of Lansing, Kan., Daniel Pfrimmer of Kansas City, Kan., and Tonya (Sam) Sphar of Shawnee, Kan.; a sister, Sharon (Jack) Wineinger; two brothers, Mike (Jody) Paden and Gary (Carolyn) Paden; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild and one on the way; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother and a brother, Steve Paden.

Georgia worked at Root Dental Lab for 34 years.

She enjoyed gardening and mowing her yard. She also loved going out with her girlfriends or staying in watching TV with her two dogs.

A memorial service will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 5, 2020, at the R.L. Leintz Funeral Home.
