Frances Seber, 78, of Leavenworth, passed away Monday, Sept. 7, 2020. She was born Aug. 5, 1942, in McLouth, Kan., to Joseph and Opal (Cline) Welch.
On Oct. 1, 1958, Frances married Kenny Seber in Blackwell, Okla. He survives her after 61 years of marriage. She is also survived by four children, Randy (Allyson) Seber, Kim (Glenn) Hess, Brad (Barb) Seber and Kristi (Ron) Vornholt; five grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; four siblings, Pat Welch, JoAnn Monroe, Barbara Schmidt and Mary Zule; in-laws, Carmel Dillon, Ernie Seber, Judith Seber and Bill Seber; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Frances was a 51-year member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Rich Seber.
Frances was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She always enjoyed supporting and participating in her children’s favorite activities.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 10, 2020, at the R.L. Leintz Funeral Home. A funeral service will begin at 10 a.m. Friday, at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the Leavenworth County Humane Society.
