Obituary for Floyd Ross Jr.
Floyd Edward Ross, Jr., 31, of Leavenworth, Kan., passed away unexpectedly, May 4, 2021. He was born March 7, 1990, in Memphis, Tenn., the son of Floyd and Louise (Walker) Ross.
Those who knew Floyd, even just a little, lost a shining light in their lives as he was incredibly encouraging and he had a smile that could light up a room. Floyd was genuine, kind-hearted and his shining spirit will live on in our hearts forever.
Floyd is survived by his parents; an older brother, Alvin Biggs; two older sisters, Roschana Harper and Kenesha Ross; his 3 yr. old daughter, Adrielle Louise Ross; and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who had the great pleasure of crossing paths with Floyd. Until we meet again.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, May 14, 2021, at the R.L. Leintz Funeral Home. A funeral service will begin at 12 p.m. Saturday, at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Mt. Muncie Cemetery. All are welcome.
