Obituary for Deborah Wood
Deborah Marie Wood, 62, of Leavenworth, died Monday, March 30, 2020. She was born Dec. 13, 1957, in Topeka, Kan., the daughter of John and Lila “Pat” (Rounds) Zeugin.
Deborah graduated from Leavenworth High School in 1977.
She worked at East Junior High and Armed Forces Insurance. She also worked at Fort Leavenworth as a contractor with Northrop Grumman.
Deborah is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Vornholt of Leavenworth, Kan.
She was a member of Immaculate Conception/St. Joseph Catholic Church where she was involved in the choir and played guitar.
A private burial will be immediate at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. A memorial service will be announced at a later date. Arrangements in care of R.L. Leintz Funeral Home.
