I am so sad to hear of Deb's passing. She was a very thoughtful person. She went to school with my sister Sheila and came to her funeral to play the guitar. It was such a nice gesture that we didn't expect. I will never forget that. Peace be with her daughter, Jennifer and her other cherished family and friends.

I'm still much at a loss for words on Deborah's passing. In the 1990s I had the good fortune to work with her as Deb was a Northrop Grumman Team Secretary. I was filling in for another admin person currently hospitalized, and she made my life so much easier in how to get a couple hundred part-time workers in from all over the country to support a military exercise. She was always calm, organized and professional. During the next couple of decades she moved on to Tech Team jobs, and I still got to see her from time to time. After I was diagnosed with a blood cancer, she was diagnosed with a different type cancer. I recall many times comparing our KU Med treatment stories. It's always helpful for cancer patients to talk with each other. She was one of the few people, seemingly in the whole world, who could share very well thoughts and experiences about the unknown concerning drugs, chemo, radiation and having to take precautions while being immune compromised (like isolation and wearing masks all the time). Unfortunately, in the last years her battle kept getting harder and harder. It was hard to believe she was gone so quickly at age 62. She will be greatly missed.

We're all diminished when good people depart too soon...and such is certainly the case here. Deb was solid -- in her faith, in her fight, at work, and as a friend. She will be missed until we all gather again on the far side of the river.

I had the pleasure of working with Deb at NG for many years. As the Team Secretary she did a wonderful job of keeping us folks straight and helping us turn out all the products required for the Contract. She was a dear Friend and will be sorely missed. She did a wonderful job raising her daughter Jennifer as a sole parent and can proud of that. RIP Deb..we will meet again. Chet
