Obituary for David DeMaranville

David R. DeMaranville, 58, of Winchester, Kan., passed away unexpectedly on his farm Friday, May 27, 2022. He was born December 18,1963, in Winchester, Kan., the youngest of three children to Ralph E. and Goldie Bernice (Hipsher) DeMaranville.

He graduated from Jefferson County North High School in 1982.

David was blessed with a large and loving family. He married his best friend Kelli on their family farm in 2016. Kelli and Dave spent 25 wonderful years together and raised two children. David was a dedicated farmer sun up to sun down.

He is survived by his wife Kelli (Duncan) DeMaranville; daughter, Krystal (Bryan) Lutgen of Winchester; son, Robert (Abigail) Gould of Winchester; grandchildren, Claire, Ryder, Asher, and Ellianna; brother, Daryl (Linda) DeMaranville of Leavenworth; sister-in-law, Carolyn DeMaranville of Easton; and many nieces and nephews.

David was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Earnest R. DeMaranville; and niece, Melissa L. DeMaranville.

Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, June 5, 2022, at the R. L. Leintz Funeral Home in Leavenworth. A funeral service will begin at 10 a.m. Monday, June 6, 2022, at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens Cemetery in Leavenworth. Memorials are suggested to the Farm Rescue Foundation, P.O. Box 28, Horace, ND 58047.
