Obituary for Darlene Marshall
Darlene Marshall, 83, of Leavenworth, died Friday, Nov. 25, 2022, at Tonganoxie Terrace Nursing Home. She was born Jan. 1, 1939, in Leavenworth, the daughter of John and Florence (Harless) Thomas.
On Nov. 4, 1967, Darlene married James Arlen Marshall in Leavenworth. He preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Richard Thomas; and two sisters, Helen Wilbur and JoAnn Manley.
Darlene is survived by her daughter, Patty (Mike) Kermashek of Leavenworth; a sister, Patty (Don) Henchek of Leavenworth; two grandchildren, Amber (Gene) Sirabella and Heather (Marcus Baker) Kermashek; and five grandchildren, Mikayla Baker, Leon Baker, Gianna Sirabella, Vincent Sirabella and Giovanni Sirabella.
In her early years, Darlene enjoyed gardening and crafting.
She worked for several years at the Glove Factory, Sunflower Ammunition Plant, Hallmark Cards and Studdard Moving and Storage Group.
Darlene wished to be cremated. No services are planned at this time.
