Obituary for Dale Totten
Dale Allen Totten, 68, died Wednesday, July 22, 2020, in Overland Park, Kan. He was born July 15, 1952, in Kansas City, Mo., the son of Marion and Thelma (Chandler) Totten.
He served in the United States Air Force from 1971 to 1974. He worked at HB Fuller adhesive for 27 years as a maintenance mechanic and retired from the VA Hospital as a maintenance mechanic.
Dale is survived by three children, Eric Totten and Malissa Lockhart both of Kansas City, Mo., and Ashley Totten of Basehor, Kan.; a sister, Joan Janes of Overland Park, Kan.; two brothers, Darryl Totten of Shawnee, Kan., and Bryan Totten of Kansas City, Mo.; three grandchildren, Mason Totten, Jayson Lockhart and Jessica Lockhart; a sister-in-law, Shelia Totten; and five nieces and 15 nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, James Totten.
Visitation will be from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Thursday, July 30, 2020. A funeral service will begin at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, all at the R.L. Leintz Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Leavenworth National Cemetery.
