Obituary for Carol Smith
Carol Mae Smith, 77, of Kingsport, Tenn., died Sunday, May 14, 2023. She was born May 1, 1946, in Leavenworth, Kan., the daughter of Frances Henry and Mary Catherine (Coffman) Farrell.
On March 9, 1964, Carol married Clyde Dennis Smith in Leavenworth. He preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her parents; a son, Clyde Dennis Smith Jr; and a sister, Linda McFarland.
Carol is survived by a daughter, Robin Denise (James Roger Jr.) Lemaster; a brother, Thomas (Robin) Farrell of Los Angeles, Calif.; three sisters, Darlene Meyer of Hemet, Calif., Rose Smith of Lawrence, Kan., and Mary Lou Tullis of McLouth, Kan.; two grandchildren, Whitley (Lane) Dukart and Robert (Tiana) Lemaster; four great-granddaughters, Vivian L. Dukart, Jolene J. Dukart, Georgia S. Dukart and MaKenna J. Johnson; a sister-in-law, Trudy (Richard) Bolewski; and many others.
A graveside service will begin at 2 p.m. Friday, May 19, 2023, at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Arrangements in care of R.L. Leintz Funeral Home.
