Obituary for Brian Behee
Brian Thomas Behee, 47, passed away Nov. 11, 2020, in Lawrence Kan. He was born Aug. 26, 1973.
Brian attended Leavenworth Public Schools and graduated from Lawrence High School. For the past 28 years, Brian lived under the care of Community Living Opportunities (CLO) which is now called Goodlife Innovations. Brian was blessed to have received care the past 8 years from the family of Tui and Sai Tuicakau. They embraced Brian as a family member and loved him very much. Brian came to Leavenworth every other week to visit his parents and was a happy boy with a constant smile.
Brian is survived by his parents, William (Bill) and Judy Behee, sisters, Kathy (Kris) Kozak, Leavenworth, Lisa (Eric) Ragland, Linn Valley, brothers, William Jr (Cori) Behee and John (Stephanie) Behee, both of Jacksonville, Fla.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 17, 2020, at the R.L. Leintz Funeral Home. A funeral service will begin at 12 p.m. Tuesday, at the funeral home, with Rev. William McEvoy as celebrant. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Leavenworth Catholic Schools.
