Obituary for Bonnie Surratt
Bonnie May Surratt, 77, of Leavenworth, died Thursday, Dec. 29, 2022. She was born Nov. 9, 1945, in St. Joseph, Mo., to David LeRoy and Donna Lee (Pankau) Kasselhute.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Carl W. Surratt; a brother, David LeRoy Kasselhute Jr.; and two grandchildren, Jesse and Connor Powell.
Bonnie is survived by her daughter, Diana Surratt of Leavenworth; three sisters, Carolyn Chamberlain, Sharon Gilbert and Patty Culp; two brothers, Steven Gaines and Robert Gaines; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
She enjoyed reading and watching movies. Bonnie also loved playing games on her tablet.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2022, at the R.L. Leintz Funeral Home. Burial will be at a later date.
