Bobby Warren Hall, 85, of Lansing, died Wednesday, Feb. 3, 2021. He was born Aug. 2, 1935, in Leavenworth, Kan., to Byron and Zula (Hill) Hall.
On Nov. 30, 1957, Bobby married Carol Jean Humphrey in Miami, Okla. She preceded him in death in 2002. He was also preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Charles Byron Hall; and his grandson, Benjamin Cody Padgett.
Bobby is survived by two daughters, Lori (David) Norwood and Kelly Padgett; four granddaughters, Davi Norwood, Dara Norwood, Dayna Norwood Browne and Hannah Padgett; a grandson, Parker Padgett; three great-grandchildren, Carsyn Cormier, Carter Cormier and Charlie Browne; a sister, Francis Tompkins; numerous nieces, nephews and friends; and his loyal sidekick, his dog Reilly.
He was hardworking. He was employed at Great Western Manufacturing for over 49 years. Bobby was a skilled craftsman and enjoyed woodworking in his free time.
Bobby spent every morning at Pullman’s for his favorite meal, breakfast with extra crispy bacon.
He was a generous and kind man, always giving and ready to help when he could.
Bobby was a devoted father, grandfather and G-Pa to his great grandkids. He will be greatly missed.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 9, 2021, at the R.L. Leintz Funeral Home. A funeral service will begin at 10 a.m. Wednesday, at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Mt. Muncie Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Leavenworth County Humane Society or Wallula Christian Church.
