Beth Marie Becker, 65, of Leavenworth, died Monday, Oct. 17, 2022. She was born Jan. 1, 1957, in Concordia, Kan., to Roy and Marcella “Sally” (Moser) Packer.
On July 5, 2000, Beth married Bobby Becker. He survives at the home. She is also survived by her daughter, Kari Blackford of Leavenworth; three sons, Tyler (Natali) Blackford of Pickerington, Ohio, Jeffery (Kristy) Becker of Gardner, Kan., and Michael Becker of Gardner, Kan.; two sisters, Carolyn (Cliff) Williams of Clay Center, Kan., and Annette (Mike) Rhein of Savage, Minn.; seven grandchildren, London Blackford, Austin, Dillan, Kobie and Andrew Becker, and Makayla and Levi Brown; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Dominic Blackford; a sister, Linda (Don) Baker; and a brother, Monty Packer.
Beth retired from the City of Leavenworth after 28 years working as the Deputy City Clerk.
She enjoyed going camping, watching NASCAR, cheering on KU Basketball and spending time with her family and friends.
Visitation beginning with praying the rosary will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 21, 2022, at the R.L. Leintz Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, at Immaculate Conception Church. Burial will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Garden. Memorials are suggested to the American Diabetes Association or St. Luke's Hospice House.
