She was also preceded in death by her parents; maternal grandparents, Mary and Robert Connelly; step-father, Dutch Nolan; a brother, Robert “Bob” Nolan; two sisters, Jean Klinger and Betty Hershey; a daughter, Jerry Ann Allen; a daughter-in-law, Elise Hundley; and one granddaughter, Lisa Annette Hundley.

Anna is survived by five sons, Francis “Spike” (Pat) Hundley, Albert “Duane” Hundley, Terry (Judy Johnson) Hundley all of Leavenworth, Roger (Connie) Hundley of Big Springs, Kan., and Jerome Thomas “JT” (Judy) Hundley of Basehor, Kan.; a daughter, Sharon (David) Tuttle of Leavenworth; a son-in-law, Charlie Allen of Lansing; 11 grandchildren, Darrin (Karan Robbins) Haling, Ken (Teana) Hundley, David (Becky) Hundley, Roger (Angie) Hundley, Shelley Thomas, Teresa (Jim) Spear, Stephen (Becky) Tuttle, Brett Hundley, Jessica (Ryan) Lingle, Kyle (Abby) Hundley, Raelynn (Nick) Delong; 29 great-grandchildren and five great great-grandchildren.

She was a caregiver in early years for different families and lastly working for Brown’s Rest Home in Leavenworth until 1968. After the passing of her husband, Anna went to work for Crown Lanes Bowling Alley. She worked there until her retirement and earned the nickname Mom Hundley. Anna was a member of First Baptist Church of Leavenworth. She was a member of the American Legion, the Fraternal Order of the Eagles and the VFW.

Anna’s hobbies included crocheting and embroidery which she learned from her grandmother. Later in life she became an avid bowler who loved to travel with her daughters to bowling tournaments. Anna took many trips to Branson to enjoy the shows and shopping with her daughters and granddaughter throughout the years. She took pride in caring for her children and grandchildren and enjoyed watching her great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren grow. She would often say she was blessed with such a large family. She was an avid sports fan and loved her Royals win or lose. After moving in with her daughter and son-in -law she became caregiver for her 2 favorite grand dogs which would visit her in nursing care later on. While in nursing care she enjoyed playing Bingo and making crafts and attending church services held by her church.

Anna’s family would like to thank Caregiver Gale Wolk and all the staff at Twin Oaks Health and Rehab for the care that she received over the past five years. It is a comfort to know she received such loving care.
